MAKE A SPLASH FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS VERMONT

TAKE THE PLUNGE!

By taking the plunge or donating to a plunger, you can support our mission to foster inclusion and acceptance of individuals with intellectual disabilities and help create life changing experiences for a community of over 5,000 Vermonters.

The Penguin Plunge is a cherished annual event that brings together the Vermont community to brave the icy waters of Lake Champlain, in the spirit of raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics Vermont.

REGISTER OR DONATE

Your plunge starts here! Register as an individual or as a part of a team!  Once you've registered, you can start fundraising to earn great incentives and make an impact!  Plunging with your school? Make sure to register for the Cool Schools Plunge! Note: Registered plungers under the age of 18 years old must have a parent or guardian complete the waiver.

Every donation matters! Whether you are donating to a friends plunge page or just want to contribute, your donation helps raise critical funds for Special Olympics Vermont!

NEED HELP REGISTERING? Send us a message and we can help you get started!

FUNDRAISING

All plungers must commit to raising the minimum of $250* to be able to plunge and start earning incentives!

*Cool Schools plungers have no commitment and have a minimum of $150 per plunger going into the water.

Because of the funds raised, our athletes are able to participate in Special Olympics Vermont sports and competitions and other programs at no cost. We know it can look scary, but fundraising is made easier by engaging your community and collecting donations to meet your goals! We have the tools and tips to help you go above and beyond!
